🌸About the materials Sunny Sea uses in its tsumamizaiku products and Sunny Sea's thoughts on them.

Silk (silk) is commonly used in traditional tsumamizaiku, but we have incorporated **Cupro,** a plant-derived material, as a sustainable alternative.
Cupro is made from a byproduct called “cotton linter,” which is found around cotton seeds, and is a recycled fiber that was originally discarded. It has a beautiful luster and smooth hand, and is sometimes referred to as “vegan silk.
It is also attracting attention as a cruelty-free (animal-friendly) material because it is made completely from vegetable matter without the use of silkworms.

However, silk also has beauty and value rooted in Japanese tradition, and we continue to introduce works made of silk.

With this in mind, I carefully create each piece one by one.

When I was a little girl, I admired Maiko.
Her graceful bearing and gorgeous visuals.
I was fascinated by the sparkling Maiko.
Originally, kanzashi were used to glamorize maiko (apprentice geisha) and brides. This work was created with the hope that the beauty and meaning of the kanzashi could be enjoyed more freely and more familiarly.

Orders within the Japan are shipped via post office and have an estimated delivery time of 3-5 business days depending on your location. This does not include the time it takes for us to process your order 5-7 business days and does not include weekends or holidays.
The shipping times listed are “close” but not guaranteed- as a number of factors can slow down an order once it leaves our hands (such as weather, the holiday season, etc).
For this reason, we are not responsible for the time in which a package travels once it has been accepted by post office.
⚠️International: We send all the packages by post office with a tracking record. It normally takes 14-21 days to arrive once it's posted. Orders outside of Japan vary vastly, depending on your location. Occasionally packages can be substantially delayed if they are held in customs. Because we cannot control the speed at which processing occurs through your country’s customs officials, please understand that we are not responsible for shipping delays once the order leaves our hands. Though delays are not common, they do happen occasionally.
