🌸About the materials Sunny Sea uses in its knobwork products and Sunny Sea's thoughts on them.

Silk is commonly used in traditional tsumamizaiku, but we have adopted a sustainable alternative, **rayon**, a material derived from plants.

Rayon has the same soft, flowing texture, but is considered a more environmentally friendly option. Made from renewable plant-derived materials such as wood pulp, it is animal-free and requires little water to produce, which is in line with modern sustainable values.

It is also considered a cruelty-free (animal-friendly) material because it is completely plant-based and does not use silkworms.

Sunny Sea uses rayon crape for its beauty, softness, and environmental friendliness.

However, silk also has beauty and value rooted in Japanese tradition, and we continue to introduce pieces made of silk.

Orders within the Japan are shipped via post office and have an estimated delivery time of 3-5 business days depending on your location. This does not include the time it takes for us to process your order 5-7 business days and does not include weekends or holidays.
The shipping times listed are “close” but not guaranteed- as a number of factors can slow down an order once it leaves our hands (such as weather, the holiday season, etc).
For this reason, we are not responsible for the time in which a package travels once it has been accepted by post office.
⚠️International: We send all the packages by post office with a tracking record. It normally takes 14-21 days to arrive once it's posted. Orders outside of Japan vary vastly, depending on your location. Occasionally packages can be substantially delayed if they are held in customs. Because we cannot control the speed at which processing occurs through your country’s customs officials, please understand that we are not responsible for shipping delays once the order leaves our hands. Though delays are not common, they do happen occasionally.
